The replacement of the Santa Fe Depot’s archaic HVAC system is almost complete, so the Chanute Area Chamber of Commerce held a preemptive ribbon cutting on Oct. 30, featuring the boards of both the public library and the Safari Museum trustees. Safari Museum Foundation Board President Allison Mih was selected as the ribbon cutter.
