The museum’s admission is free this month from the generous donation from Cleaver Farm and Home. Next month is free from the generous donation from Cardinal Drug Store. We are absolutely delighted to have the community’s support, and we ask everyone to please take advantage of our free admission this autumn!
October was a big and fun month for the museum! With our gala, ribbon cutting, and ghost tours! A successful spooky season if I do say so myself! I am looking forward to the colder months in the museum and learning even more about our artifacts. Next week I’ll be presenting at the Kansas Museum’s Association alongside my previous employer over the importance of community collaborations with universities and local museums. I’m really looking forward to that!
Our little museum is partnering with a travel agency in Kansas City! Collette is offering a “Plains of Africa” trip next October! Annnnd we will be offering a “Tropical Costa Rica Trip” in 2027! This will help with the Museum’s fundraising and outreach efforts! We’re so excited to partner with such a neat local company. You can reach out to the museum for more information or attend one of our upcoming webinars about the trips! Come by the museum any time to discuss the trips!
The Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum and Osa’s Ark Museum Store are open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00AM-5:00PM. Be on the lookout for our upcoming events!
