Norma J. Wescott, 95, passed away on Nov. 15, 2025.
She is survived by her daughters, Peggy Ward, Becky (Monty) Nelson and Tammy (Harlan) Sloan; and daughterin- law, Cheryl Wescott. Her grandchildren include Clayton (Laurie) Ward, Suzy Ward, Rod (Lynette) Wescott, Jeff (Stacy) Ward, Brian (Melanie) Ward, Kristi (Adam) Thornton, Robbie Ward, Chad (Courtney) Kline, Ashley (Chris) Forsman, Zach (Brittany) Nelson, Alisha Sloan, Matt (Shannon) Wescott and Brooke (Alisha) Sloan.
She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren — Leah Wescott, Kyle Wescott, Abby Forsman, Jack Forsman, Adalynn Ward, Grace Forsman, Brilynn Ward, Brett Ward, Jacob Thornton, Chace Wescott, Owen Kline, L.J. Ward, Maci Thornton, Troy Kline, Jay Forsman, Jaylynn Nelson, Perrie Forsman, Kennedy Kline, Peyton Sloan, Gracelynn Nelson, Quinn Wescott, Brooks Wescott, Emilee and Molly — and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard; her children, Roger Wescott, Vicky Kline and David Wescott; sonin- law, Bob Ward; and 12 siblings.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720. Memorials are suggested to Buffalo Methodist Church or the ALS Association and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
