On Sunday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 4 p.m., the Neosho Valley Busy Bees 4-H club and the Safari Museum will partner for the annual International Tasting Tea event, this is a free event open to the public. The event will be held in the lobby of the depot at 111 North Lincoln Avenue in Chanute.
The Tasting Tea is a fun way to experience what people and other countries eat. The Busy Bees 4-H club votes on a country. Ann Naff, from the Safari Museum, selects recipes from the elected country. 4-H families prepare the recipes and serve a taste of each dish at the event.
This will be The 44th year the Busy Bees have helped with the Tasting Tea.
