COFFEYVILLE — Bouncing back from a loss against Pittsburg, the Chanute Blue Comets girls took care of business on the road with a 43-29 victory over the Coffeyville Golden Tornado.
Despite missing the services of Kate Uhner, who was sick, Chanute shot 32.6% from the floor and held Coffeyville to 19.2%.
Brynna Peter led Chanute with 14 points while Laney Holtzman added 11.
Chanute improved to 6-3 overall with the win and 2-2 in SEK League play.
