In their first game since the Ralph Miller Classic, the Chanute Blue Comets girls took down Trinity Academy, 41-39, at home on Tuesday night.
Grace Luebbering led Chanute with a dozen points while Kate Uhner added seven.
Averee Hicks led the Blue Comets with six rebounds.
Chanute’s defense forced Trinity Academy into 21 turnovers while Chanute was limited to 11 giveaways.
Chanute improved to 8-5 overall with the win.
