Jan. 19: A traffic stop was conducted at U.S. 169 Highway and Montgomery Road in Thayer. The driver, Samuel Henderson, 23, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was cited for speeding, expired vehicle registration and no proof of insurance.

Jan. 21: A warrant arrest was made in the 140th Road area, 0.2 miles east of Queen Road near Erie. Lee Ann Simoncic, 55, of Pittsburg, was arrested on a Chanute Municipal Court warrant.
