New signage

Workers with CDL Electric installed a new welcoming sign at 35th and Plummer Friday afternoon, paid through the Chanute Chamber of Commerce Tourism fund. The new sign, which replaces a previous outdated and often vandalized sign at the same location, features a reflective vinyl surface. Once the concrete sets, workers will remove braces and install a biplane graphic, and other civic group signs and landscaping will be added.
