Drive- through holiday dinner

Instead of a sit-down meal, organizers of the annual Community Christmas Dinner at Zion Lutheran Church held a drive-through. Based on 250 advance calls, volunteers prepared 300 meals and participants had their choice of ham or turkey. There was no home delivery, and participants pulled up, placed their order and parked for a carhop to bring their meals.

Other sponsors were First Baptist, United Methodist and Thrivent Financial.
