NEW TECHNOLOGY FOR FAMILIES

Stacy Wright, maternal child health educator for the Neosho County Health Department, secured a $21,000 grant in funding for technology for families in the county. The Technology for Families grant ensures that families most in need during the COVID-19 pandemic have the equipment and devices to support virtual access for telehealth appointments, mental health appointments, and home visiting services. Wright is pictured with director of the Neosho County Health Department Teresa Starr, at left. “I will be distributing these on Dec. 15 and again on Dec. 18,” Wright said. “This is so exciting for our county and right before Christmas, too.”
